Le Cameroun c\u00e9l\u00e8bre la paix ce 18 juin 2023<\/h1>

La Journ\u00e9e internationale de la paix de l\u2019ONU, c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9e le 21 septembre de chaque ann\u00e9e, a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9plac\u00e9e au Cameroun pour \u00eatre c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 le 18 juin dans le cadre du PeaceJam.<\/h2>

Rendu \u00e0 sa 3\u00e8me<\/span>\u00a0\u00e9dition, le PeaceJam c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 au Cameroun correspond \u00e0 la Journ\u00e9e internationale de lutte contre le discours de haine. Les activit\u00e9s autour du PeaceJam s\u2019articulent\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0sur la strat\u00e9gie et le plan d\u2019action de l\u2019ONU sur le discours de haine lanc\u00e9s le 18 juin 2019 pour contrer le discours de haine. Faire du \u201cjam\u201d pour la paix, c\u2019est utiliser des strat\u00e9gies improvis\u00e9es pour construire la paix en se basant sur l\u2019\u00e9nergie g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par leurs propres expressions cr\u00e9atives plut\u00f4t que de s\u2019appuyer sur des plans pr\u00e9d\u00e9termin\u00e9s<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb, comme l\u2019indique les concepteurs. Au niveau international, le PeaceJam se c\u00e9l\u00e8bre depuis 2015.<\/p>

Action civique commune contre le discours de haine<\/h2>

Pour l\u2019\u00e9dition 2023, le PeaceJam a pour th\u00e8me, \u00ab\u00a0Des espaces s\u00fbrs en ligne pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique\u00a0<\/span>\u00bb. Ainsi donc, la communaut\u00e9 camerounaise se joint aux Nations unies pour lutter contre la discrimination, la x\u00e9nophobie et le\u00a0discours de haine<\/a>\u00a0et nous augmentons nos efforts pour contrer le discours de haine, conform\u00e9ment au droit international des droits de l\u2019homme. le travail de Defyhatenow, initiateur du PeaceJam se concentre sur la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un cadre permettant d\u2019instaurer la confiance entre les parties prenantes en mobilisant l\u2019action civique contre toutes les formes de discours de haine et d\u2019incitation \u00e0 la violence en ligne et hors ligne.<\/p>

A l\u2019issue des r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019appel \u00e0 propositions de projets, la communaut\u00e9 defyhatenow et ses partenaires avant le 18 juin organisent une s\u00e9rie d\u2019activit\u00e9s sur le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s,\u00a0 la sensibilisation des m\u00e9dias, des films, de l\u2019art et de l\u2019exposition culturelle pour mobiliser la communaut\u00e9 nationale autour des ideaux de paix.<\/p>

La Place de l\u2019Ind\u00e9pendance le samedi 17 septembre de 8h \u00e0 20h sera le village de la paix. Le public est invit\u00e9 \u00e0 se joindre \u00e0 nous \u00e0 partir de 12h pour des activit\u00e9s socioculturelles, culinaires, artistiques et des performances publiques. Ce sera l\u2019occasion de pr\u00e9senter notre travail de construction de la paix au Cameroun, nos ressources documentaires produites et d\u2019\u00e9duquer le public sur les petits pas qu\u2019il peut faire pour d\u00e9fendre les initiatives de paix \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents niveaux.<\/p>
