[Vitrine du Cameroun] \u2013 C\u2019\u00e9tait dans le cadre d\u2019un s\u00e9minaire de 3 jours, marquant le d\u00e9marrage de leur formation sur la v\u00e9rification des faits en ligne et la lutte contre les discours de haine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Defyhatenow accueille les Boursiers de la Cohorte 8 de son programme de Bourse pour la v\u00e9rification des faits en Afrique (AFFCameroon). Issus des 10 r\u00e9gions du Cameroun, les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de cette formation devraient \u00e0 terme, s\u2019impr\u00e9gner des m\u00e9thodes et techniques en fact-checking, collecte et analyse des donn\u00e9es en ligne, engagement et sensibilisation communautaire contre la d\u00e9sinformation et les discours haineux.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

La phase d\u2019initiation qui a dur\u00e9 trois jours, notamment les 15, 16 et 17 juin 2023, a principalement \u00e9t\u00e9 ax\u00e9e sur l\u2019identification et l\u2019importance de la v\u00e9rification des faits, le rep\u00e9rage des fausses informations en ligne, les outils de v\u00e9rification en ligne et de g\u00e9olocalisation pour \u00e9tablir l\u2019origine des images, et comment trouver des donn\u00e9es fiables aupr\u00e8s de sources cr\u00e9dibles.<\/p>\n

Defyhatenow Cameroon est \u00e0 l\u2019initiative d\u2019African Fact-Checking Fellowship. \u00c0 date, elle compte une centaine de professionnels form\u00e9s dans la v\u00e9rification des faits. Sa d\u00e9marche vise \u00e0 terme, de cr\u00e9er une masse critique de v\u00e9rificateurs de faits, de combattants des discours de haine en ligne et hors ligne, et de d\u00e9fenseurs des droits num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n

Ses formations sont bas\u00e9es sur un mod\u00e8le d\u2019apprentissage mixte qui utilise des webinaires, des le\u00e7ons pratiques, l\u2019apprentissage entre pairs et le travail pratique sur le terrain. Sur les trois mois que va durer cette formation, les boursiers auront acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un  ensemble d\u2019outils et de ressources en ligne ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 un r\u00e9seau d\u2019experts et de professionnels du monde entier.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
