SENSIBILISER LA PRESSE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

18 journalistes de diff\u00e9rents m\u00e9dias, venus de Bamenda, Foumban, Yaound\u00e9 et Douala pour participer \u00e0 une formation avec pour objectif de mieux pr\u00e9parer l\u2019\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle de 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pendant 3 jours, c\u2019est autour d\u2019une table ronde que les \u00e9changes se sont fait avec les deux formateurs consacr\u00e9s pour les ateliers. C\u2019est l\u2019occasion pour eux, d\u2019en apprendre plus sur de nombreux sujets parmi lesquels : les principes du reportage en p\u00e9riode sensible, accompagn\u00e9 des exercices pratiques. Il a aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 question d\u2019explorer les consid\u00e9rations \u00e9thiques dans les reportages et naviguer dans la d\u00e9sinformation et la propagande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une occasion de faire un rappel sur les diff\u00e9rentes causes de la \u00ab crise anglophone <\/em>\u00bb qui reste, jusqu\u2019ici non r\u00e9solue. Franklin Sone Bayen, l\u2019un des formateur, a mis un accent sur le d\u00e9veloppement politique \u00e9lectoral en remontant aux ann\u00e9es 1975, p\u00e9riode \u00e0 laquelle l\u2019actuel pr\u00e9sident Paul Biya \u00e9tait premier ministre du Cameroun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rendre compte de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette formation intervient comme une sonnette d\u2019alarme pour les journalistes, afin qu\u2019ils ne rendent compte que de la v\u00e9rit\u00e9. Le probl\u00e8me de r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration des journalistes pourrait \u00eatre un frein pour le bon d\u00e9roulement des \u00e9lections. C\u2019est ce qu\u2019explique Eugene Nforngawa, formateur des journalistes : \u00ab on oublie souvent de prendre en compte la situation financi\u00e8re des journalistes elle peut \u00eatre une source de probl\u00e8mes en ce qui concerne ces \u00e9lections. Nous sommes dans un pays o\u00f9 les m\u00e9dias ont beaucoup de probl\u00e8mes surtout de capacit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique, une situation qui peut ne pas \u00eatre favorable pour la construction de paix <\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ajout\u00e9 \u00e0 cette difficult\u00e9 il mentionne \u00e9galement le probl\u00e8me de la formation des journalistes \u00ab le journalisme est un m\u00e9tier libre. On n\u2019a forc\u00e9ment pas besoin d\u2019aller dans une \u00e9cole de journalisme pour devenir journaliste c\u2019est une notion qui est accept\u00e9e partout, donc il y\u2019a certaines personnes qui arrivent dans le m\u00e9tier sans savoir ce qu\u2019il faut faire ni comment le faire<\/em> \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selon La Fortune Tambah, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire de la formation, : \u00ab l\u2019impact de cette formation s\u2019\u00e9tablit \u00e0 plusieurs niveaux. Les enseignements ont permis de faire resurgir des \u00e9l\u00e9ments d\u00e9j\u00e0 connus, mais qui s\u2019\u00e9taient refoul\u00e9 par manque d\u2019application sur le terrain\u00bb. \u00abCette formation nous a montrer l\u2019importance et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de respecter tous ces principes l\u00e0 pour limiter les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, parce que nous en tant que journaliste nous avons notre part \u00e0 faire pour la construction de la paix dans notre pays<\/em> \u00bb ajoute-t-elle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une formation avant-gardiste<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans l\u2019objectif de renforcer les aptitudes des journalistes reporters dans un climat de tension, cette session marque le d\u00e9but d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de formation des journalistes. Suite \u00e0 plusieurs constats fait pendant les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes \u00e9lections, Defyhatenow s\u2019appuie sur ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments pour contrer la d\u00e9sinformation et promouvoir la paix. \u00ab Les \u00e9lections ont toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 le moment idoine pour les entrepreneurs du conflit et des violences de pousser des discussions qui ne favorisent pas un contexte de paix. Pendant les p\u00e9riodes \u00e9lectorales, m\u00eame les journalistes form\u00e9s se jettent souvent dans les sujets qui peuvent mettre la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 feu et \u00e0 sang <\/em>\u00bb mentionne Desmond Ngala, chef de projet National pour Defyhatenow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les avanc\u00e9es technologiques, la vulgarisation des nouveaux r\u00e9seaux sociaux, dans la qu\u00eate de visibilit\u00e9 avec pour soucis de d\u00e9cr\u00e9dibiliser un candidat en faveur d\u2019un autre, en cette p\u00e9riode, font monter en puissance la d\u00e9sinformation. \u00ab Au sortir de ce d\u00e9but d\u2019\u00e9change, nous invitons les journalistes \u00e0 \u00e9viter les pol\u00e9miques, ne pas s\u2019emballer dans des discours politiques, relayer la vraie information et donner la parole \u00e0 presque tout le monde<\/em> \u00bb interpelle Desmond Ngala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
